Forleden lancerede DR en betaversion af DR Update, baseret hovedsagligt på Flash (hovedsagligt da der findes enkelte indslag som stadig er i WMV). Jeg skrev selv lidt om DR Update da det blev lanceret i 2007. Den version af DR Update, som blev lanceret den gang, og som stadig er aktiv den dag i dag, er baseret på Windows Media, hvilket naturligvis stærkt begrænser anvendeligheden hos brugere, som ikke bruger Windows og Internet Explorer.
